Measure before selecting
Treat each dimension as a separate check. A similar-looking piece is not evidence of fit.

Choosing a roofing nail? Start with three measurements.
Confirm the specified shank length, shank diameter and head diameter. The smooth galvanized nail is 1.25 inches long; the ring-shank galvanized option is 1.5 inches. A longer nail is not automatically suitable for an assembly. Obtain the project requirement before choosing.
Does ring-shank mean the same material?
No. Construction and metal are separate facts. Our galvanized ring-shank and stainless ring-shank nails share a ringed shape, but not the same material. Select by the required metal and construction together; do not treat appearance as a performance rating.
Will a five-inch bracket fit any five-inch gutter?
No. Measure the actual gutter cross-section, base, front lip and rear attachment. A half-round cradle, K-style internal hanger and square U cradle contact different shapes. Compare the fixing plate or tail to the available mounting surface. Nominal width is a starting point, not a compatibility guarantee.
What comes in a bracket pack?
The listed brackets only. Fixing screws are not included because the required fixing depends on the project and substrate. The K-style hanger is supplied in packs of four; the other bracket packs contain two. One cart quantity means one complete pack.
Can I bend a bracket to make it fit?
Do not modify an unverified profile to force a fit. Check the dimensions and obtain advice from a qualified installer. The adjustable bracket has a pivot joint, but we make no angle range or load claim.
Store and inspect hardware
Keep packs dry and separated by metal and SKU. Retain the pack identification so leftover hardware can be matched later. Check for bent shafts, distorted cradles or damaged coatings before use. Do not apply household chemicals or mix loose dissimilar metal parts in a damp container.
